THE QUEEN'S

PLATINUM JUBILEE

Friday 3rd to Monday 6th June

The Parish Council and other organisations in the Parish are making plans to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and we want our community to join in - plans are already in place for:


  • A BIG Jubilee Lunch at Toft Hill Community Centre on Sunday 5th June

  • A Sport's Day at Etherley Cricket Club sometime over the Jubilee week-end

LEVELLING UP FUND - CONFIRMATION RECEIVED THAT THE APPLICATION FOR FUNDING HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL:

Durham County Council has been successful in bidding for £20 million from the Government’s Levelling Up Fund to re-route the A68 at Toft Hill, re-open Whorlton Bridge and create a heritage corridor along the Stockton and Darlington Railway line.
